FINRA Transparency Services Forms Updates

August 28, 2017

Effective August 28, 2017, FINRA will make several changes to the TRACE New Issue Form, TRACE Order Form and FINRA Participation Agreement.

On that date, the name of the TRACE New Issue Form, which firms use to submit securities to FINRA for inclusion in the TRACE or ORF reporting facilities, will change to the FINRA New Issue Form. In addition, the form will be modified to allow firms to upload a file containing multiple MBS, Treasury or Agency securities in one filing.

The name of the TRACE Order Form, which firms use to establish new logins for the TRAQS website, will change to FINRA Order Form. The form will also be modified to allow submitters to more easily add logins for users with similar TRAQS access. Directions for using this form can be found in the FINRA Order Form User Guide.

The FINRA Participation Agreement will be updated to allow an ATS to indicate an exemption from filing the Form ATS with the SEC. Additionally, when adding a new contact on the form, users will be able to indicate to which facility a contact applies. Instructions for using these features are located in the FINRA Participation Agreement User Guide.

On August 25, any forms your firm has saved in draft status will be deleted. All three forms are available via the FINRA Firm Gateway.

If you have any questions about this notice, please contact FINRA Market Operations or call (866) 776-0800.
