An article by Daniel LeGaye of the LeGaye Law Firm titled “New Regulatory Guidance for Business Continuity Planning” was cited in a Blog titled “Preparing for disaster: Strategies for extending continuity” which was posted by Ebony Hillsman, on the CBeyond Expert Advice Center. The LeGaye Law firm article cited supported Ms. Hillsman’s position that small business owners should implement their own strategies as well, in order to build layers of defense, which includes addressing regulatory guidelines. In The LeGaye Law Firm article, it was stated that it is becoming more essential for businesses to follow a regulatory guide for business continuity. As large-scale disasters become more prominent, it is more difficult for small businesses to recover from the devastation.
